George completed his medical training at the University of Sydney and his post-graduate qualifications in Victoria and NSW, culminating in the award of FRACS (Urology). He completed his years of advanced training concentrating on urological cancers, focusing on minimally invasive surgical techniques. George has extensive training on male voiding dysfunction, laser prostate surgery, and stone surgery.

George is actively committed to teaching the next generation of surgeons and is a member of the Academy of Surgical Educators. He also consistently participates in multidisciplinary team meetings, audits, and radiology, and morbidity meetings. His special interests include robotic surgery (upper and lower tract), voiding dysfunction, including laser prostate surgery, urolift and rezum, implant, continence surgery and urodynamics, and all aspects of general urology (laser stone surgery, vasectomy, circumcision)
